Greetings Dear Customers and Friends,
It's with great pleasure that I'm letting you know that Jayne Christopher, who has made your nightgowns or nightshirts for the past 25 years, has taken over my nightwear business. Not much will change, except you'll likely get your orders sent out faster! It's good for everyone because it gives Jayne a chance to be the boss, allows me to retire, and keeps our unusual niche market going, especially since it seems that very few companies, all over the world, are making our kind of nightwear any more. We have had orders from the USA, England, Belgium and even Australia!
Jayne's going to keep using my website www.arlenemassey.com and keep the styles and top-quality flannels and cottons you are used to. Her email, firstname.lastname@example.org, and phone number 613-382-1903, are now on the website, as well as new fabrics she has ordered. Please take a look!
Jayne will be taking Canadian cheques, Paypal or e-transfers on internet banking, but won't be using credit cards, in keeping with my decision a few years ago that credit cards, though convenient, are a financial burden on small businesses. But you can still use your credit card on Paypal, without being a Paypal customer.
Thank you for your loyal support over the many years, and even your nightgown addictions! We get it! It's been great fun to chat with you and hear your stories. As for me, I'm really into animal rescue and our local Gananoque & District Humane Society where we are totally volunteer-run and I spend my time writing, promoting and holding clothing and jewellery bazaars to fundraise.
Please remember visit Jayne's updated website soon to see all of the new material available!
All the Best!
Jayne and Arlene
Thank you, dear customers and friends who have bought from us for over 2
decades. Thanks too for kindly recommending our products to your family and
Jayne Christopher & Arlene Massey
We make 100% cotton flannel and broadcloth nightgowns, nightshirts and pyjamas for women, and nightshirts for men. Our products
are comfy, sewn with care, and elegantly simple in design. They are based on
traditional styles that are practical for everyday life. We search for thick,
warm fabrics with a vintage look, and leave out the lace and frills. Our
roomy sizes are geared to fit the shapes and sizes of real people.
Since 1982 we've sold over 10,000 nightgowns, nightshirts and pjs, for 24 years at Toronto's One of a Kind Show, where
we met many customers who came back year after year, got to know our products
well, and still buy from us by phone and email, as we no longer do shows.
Our nightwear makes a quality gift that does not look mass-produced. It is
expertly sewn by us in our small cottage industry with love and great
skill - something that is getting harder to find and that might remind you of
a special nightgown somebody made for you for Christmas when you were
little...We hope our nightwear gives you that same cosy feeling and we hope our customers' old favourites become your favourites, too.
